Water Soluble Vitamins
Vitamin B complex and C are water soluble vitamins. They are present
in vegetables, fruit, seeds and animal products. We absorb them through
the digestive tract, from where they are taken to the liver, and transported
around the body in the blood. Any unused B or C vitamin is readily excreted
from the body so it is important to ingest them on a daily basis. They
are usually measured in grams, milligrams (one thousandth of a gram) or
micro-grams (one millionth of a gram).
